Business owners can withdraw funds as needed. For this reason, a business credit account can be considered a convenient investor.
Number two, they help to build a business credit rating. Smart business owners know the value of their company being a separate entity. Hence, establishing company credit is extremely useful. So instead of continuing to apply for business credit cards in your personal name, try to star obtaining business credit cards and other accounts in the company name. It takes time to build a credit rating for yourself so just imagine how it is to build one for a business. For a company to establish a good credit history, business owners must maintain regular payments and establish a good relationship with creditors. Moreover, business owners should closely monitor the company's credit account. Any negative remarks will reflect on the business owner's credit report.
Number three, having an accurate management of business expenses with a business credit card. We all know how difficult it is to keep track of day to day expenses in our own personal life. You start off with $100 in the morning and by the time you return home later in the evening you have little or none with zero recollection of where any of the money has gone. Imagine the same scenario in your business. You would be in serious amounts of trouble trying to explain where all the money is going. When using a business credit account, all transactions are easy to trace. If you are self-employed or operating a small business, you must accurately document your income and expenses. This is a necessity for tax purposes.
When companies rely on cash or a cheque book for purchases for their business, there is a ton of room for error and missed transactions.
